Gutter Cleaning Across the Des Moines Metro
Every suburb here fills its gutters for a different reason. Here is what we have learned working them.
People assume gutter cleaning is the same job everywhere in a metro this size. It is not. A house on the Clive Greenbelt and a house in a Polk City subdivision built in 2021 are on genuinely different schedules, and the reason has nothing to do with how well either homeowner keeps up.
We cover Polk, Dallas, and Warren Counties. The pages below get into what is actually happening in each city.

West Des Moines, IA
The east/west split: a 100-year-old Valley Junction house and a 2004 Jordan Creek house are different jobs.
Gutter cleaning in West Des Moines →
Johnston, IA
The trees just crossed the threshold. Johnston has been planting since the mid-90s and those trees are now big enough to matter.
Gutter cleaning in Johnston →
Clive, IA
The Greenbelt. An 11-mile creek corridor runs the length of town and the homes along it are on a different schedule.
Gutter cleaning in Clive →
Norwalk, IA
It depends on your street. Norwalk has 1965 neighborhoods and 2018 neighborhoods, and the city documents which is which.
Gutter cleaning in Norwalk →
Polk City, IA
Park adjacency, not city age. Polk City is a new town next to a 3,550-acre park, and only some lots feel it.
Gutter cleaning in Polk City →Not on the List?
These five cities have their own pages because we have something specific to say about them. We work across the wider Des Moines metro regardless. If you are in the metro and you have gutters, call and ask.
